Returns

At Cura Home, we want you to be fully satisfied with every item you purchase so that you love the space you’re in. That’s why we’re happy to offer a 30-day return policy on all Cura Home orders. You can initiate a return up to 30 days from the date of delivery. If you decide your piece isn’t quite right, we are here to help.

Return Conditions:

  • Products must be in new and unused condition with no visible wear, damages, odors, scratches, stains, drilling, and other modifications
  • Products that require assembly must be unassembled
  • For office chairs that include a gas lift, we do not recommend fully assembling the chair if you are planning to return.  Chairs that are unable to be unassembled and returned are subject to a restocking fee.
  • Products must be returned in the original packaging with all original product inserts.
  • All product components/parts and accessories must be included
  • Any item(s) that was shipped with a pallet will need to save the pallet for the return, otherwise a palletization fee will be applied
  • Clearance/ sale items ending in $0.50 are final sale. Sale item(s) ending in $0.95 are returnable
  • Gift cards and special order item(s) are final sale.
  • Route protection, added shipping fees, and/or upgraded delivery fees are non-refundable

Cura Home reserves the right to refuse the return or charge a restocking fee for items that do not meet our return conditions and are not in original condition due to following reasons (but not limited to): missing original packaging, poorly packaged items, missing component/accessories, visible damages such as scratches, stains, tears caused by the customer and/or incorrect packaging.

All returned merchandise will be inspected within 72 hours of arriving at our warehouse. Once we’ve determined that the product is in as-new condition, our team will process your return and issue a refund minus any shipping and return fees within 10 business days from receipt of the return package.

Please note that depending on your card issuer’s policy, it may take up to 10 business days for your refund to appear on your credit statement.

Exchanges

We currently do not offer exchanges.  You will need to place a new order for an item you wish to exchange for and return the item you wish to return.  

Return Shipping & Fees

Return shipping costs and fees are the responsibility of the customer. When you submit for a return authorization, we will provide you with the return shipping cost and the prepaid return label. Upon return, your merchandise will be inspected and we will refund your original form of payment less the return shipping costs, and any added fees if applicable.

It is at the responsibility of the buyer to drop off the return at UPS or arrange for a pickup with UPS. If the return item needs to be shipped via LTL freight, we will arrange for the return pickup.

Added Fees

  • Any item(s) that are returned and do not meet our return conditions may be subject to restocking fees and/or refused.
  • For item(s) labeled large package shipping, a restocking fee of up to 25% from the original, pre-discounted product price will be applied and deducted from the final refund.

Incorrect or Damaged Items

If you feel there is an issue with your product or if something is missing, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We are here to help you resolve the situation as quickly as possible!

We offer Route package protection with an added fee that covers against loss, theft, and or damage during transit.  If you decide to opt out of the shipping protection, Cura Home is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items. If your order contains Route package protection, you can file a claim directly through Route by going through their app or the website. Please contact us if you require any other assistance.

All damage claims must be submitted to Route OR hello@mycurahome.com within 48 hours of delivery.  All claims require photos of the damage and outside carton it was shipped in.  Failure to provide these within the timeframe can result in the claim being rejected.

Items shipped via white glove:

  • Please inspect all packages and item(s) for damage before signing for the package.
  • If damage is visible, please take pictures of the outer carton and the damages and reject the shipment. Make sure the delivery team notes the damage before you sign for the package.

Color & Variation Note: Every computer monitor displays color differently and Cura Home cannot be responsible for variations between the actual product color and how it is displayed on your screen/monitor. Products made of natural materials may vary in color, texture, grain, and/or look and are not considered a defect or damage.  Cura Home assumes no liability for any variance, minor imperfections, and/or for a product not meeting with customer satisfaction.


Measurement Note: We recommend measuring properly prior to placing any orders. Product dimensions are provided on the product page.  There could be a 1/4" to 1/2" tolerance on some furniture products. If you have any questions regarding the product’s size, please contact us and we’ll be happy to assist you. Orders that are canceled or refused at delivery due to sizing issues are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Customers must contact us in advance of returning items to receive a Return Authorization and appropriate instructions. Returns sent that do not include Return Authorization will not be accepted.
